A lemon centerpiece

Given that our colors are yellow, white and gray, it seems as though we should definitely include some lemons in our decor! I love how fun and fresh they seem. I also appreciate including organic elements.

I also need to reconsider these awesome lemony coasters I found previously as well. I've been thinking about them ever since I first posted them.

Scottadito in Park Slope

We're considering a place called Scottadito here in Brooklyn for the wedding. It's actually an organic italian restaurant, and their food is great.

They host events in the cellar (shown above), and I think the ambiance of that would really set the right tone for the reception! Everything is wood-lined, and on the upper level, they have a great fireplace and a garden. Best of all is that their prices are quite affordable, and I love the location just off of 7th Avenue (on Union) in Park Slope.

We still have to meet with them to see if it'll work as a reception space, but it's our top choice so far. Fingers crossed!
