Add some style to your vodka

I'm obsessing over every single post on iDIY. It's so perfect for me since so much of our wedding is DIY.

Here's a great idea on how to doll up your liquor. I love the lemon twists in the shot glasses too!

I'm off to the Brooklyn Pop-Up

I'm off tomorrow to the Brooklyn Pop-Up Wedding Series in Williamsburg with my friend Nora. I've been hearing a lot about it, so I better get my butt over there before June is gone already and it's over.

This month-long series includes a pop-up store with wedding vendors as well as events. The best part is that the whole thing culminates with a week-long pop up wedding chapel where couples will actually get hitched! Martha-Stewart-style in fact. I've really gotta check that out too.

My favorite part though is that it all looks to be fun, quirky Brooklyn style. I'll have to report back on it tomorrow however.

Photo centerpieces

Loving this idea of lit up photos as the table centerpieces. Also from Martha Stewart. Thanks mom for all those great links!

This is a definite contender! Question is, do we limit it just to photos of ourselves through the years or include family pics too? I was also thinking of including family wedding photos on the entry table, but I don't want to go overboard with pics. Photos on wine bottles has entered my mind too.

I need to edit myself here. I want to do it all! Can you tell????

More luminaries

So I'm thinking about table settings now. Just exploring ideas. I like the idea of the different colors of the luminaries above, but we'd need the varying sizes to make that work.

I also surprisingly like the lace on the table centerpiece below. If I customize my dress the way I'd like to, the lace would be such a classic complement.

Gotsta get organized!

That really needs to be my mantra everyday. From my email, to our closets, to the desk (at home and work!)

And of course, it wouldn't hurt come wedding planning either. Check out this great wedding planning binder from Target.

I was inspired by Andrea's big binder of wedding fun!

I also have my eye on this little Martha Stewart scrapbook number below...

Who needs wedding cake...

...when you have pie! 16 types in fact -- including peach, blueberry, cherry, strawberry-rhubarb, lemon, and apple.

This couple also gave out shortbread, lemon marmalade and more as their wedding favors. Num!
