Where Can I Buy Gray and White Striped Ribbon

I'm trying to find gray and white striped ribbon that looks like the ribbon above.

Anyone know where I can buy this online? I've found every color except gray!

UPDATE: While I didnt find exactly what's shown above in gray, I did find this, and it totally works for me...

Yellow Bouquets

We're doing our own bouquets. Originally, I had planned to go down to Houston's flower district on Fannin, but some friends recently mentioned that they aren't the freshest and the selection isn't what it used to be.

My sister does a lot of flower arranging however and has a place that she orders from.

Since I'll now be ordering in advance, I need to figure out our flowers. I'd been thinking about yellow for the bridesmaids and white/off-white for me, but I might mix in some yellow with mine as well.

The yellow bouquet above is just perfect though! I'd also like to mix in some green and even some succulents.

After a bit more looking, this arrangement below would be the perfect mix for me! Love the dangling accents too. (I'm sure that's the technical term).

Striped Bouquet Ribbon

I may have mentioned I'll be doing our bouquets for the wedding. I'm particularly taken with the striped ribbon shown on this bouquet here. Not sure if it'll go with my dress however.

If I decide to do the stripes, I'd probably do yellow and white or gray and white.

I think I'll see how they look together once I actually have my dress in hand and I can see the ribbon alongside the dress...

Flower Garlands

Love these flower garlands from You Are My Fave.

I like that the flowers are all different, and the best part is that the threading is invisible so it looks the flowers are floating.

Just Married!!!

I love the classic, old-school nature of the whole "Just Married" thing on the back of the car!

While the flowers are certainly classy, I still love the whole tin can thing too. And ribbons and toulle! Plus that classic cursive Just Married sign!

I'm so excited, I can't wait!!!

Beaded Corsage

This corsage really stands out to me because of the base. It's wrapped in a silver cord with silver beads.

Originally, before I saw a close up on Emily K's Etsy store, I thought it was lace, which would be another interesting option.

This makes me think I might want to try a subtle beaded base on the corsages and boutonnieres for our wedding party-- since i'll be making the arrangements myself anyhow.

A backyard wedding...

...would be fun with a canopy like this. It wouldn't be that hard to drape the fabric for the altar. I just have to find the yard...

I've thought about one of the many wonderful parks here, but I hesitate to have an elaborate set up in such a public space.

(And these flowers below are gorgeous too.)

There are dresses in the pictures?

I'm so enamored with the flowers and the nuance of color in these photos I almost didn't notice the wedding dresses!

The whole setting is just entirely decadent! I love it!

Metallic Jeweled Peony Pin

I've been quite smitten with flower pins, accessories and embellishments lately. This one is absolutely my favorite so far. I just have to figure out how I can work it into the wedding...

The pin is available from Brass Paperclip on Etsy.

Letterpress invitations

If there's one thing I might like to splurge on wedding-wise (beyond the honeymoon), it wouldn't be the flowers or the dress, it would definitely be letterpress invitations.

Given that I do design work, I could easily whip up my own invites, so I've been leaning toward that. However, I can't do my own letterpress -- or at least I haven't figured it out yet -- given the equipment involved. Open to suggestions from you guys. I should see if Etsy offers classes.

Until I do figure it out, I'll have my eye on this invitation above from Smock.

Rosettes and flower accents of all sorts

I love the variety of flower accents I've seen on dresses. I plan to add some sort of sash with flower embellishments that I create myself to my dress*.

Something like the flower(s) on the dresses shown here.

In fact, I just read something that suggested having a few different accent pieces that you change throughout the wedding for a few different looks. That definitely helps those of us who are indecisive! I'm thinking I might go with that in terms of the birdcage veil. Wear it during the ceremony, but go with a pin or a double strand pearl headband after.

***For those of you who caught that, yes, that's right, I bought my dress! Or mom bought me my dress to be more precise. I'll be adding a lace jacket and a flower sash, but here it is in all it's glory!)

You're surrounded!

How dreamy would it be to completely surround myself and all of our wedding guests in flowers!?

I had every intention of going quite low key where flowers are concerned, BUT i could do the exact opposite! Wouldn't that be fun!?!?

A Martha's Vineyard Wedding

Check out this shot from Beach House Bride (via Classic Bride). It's a beautiful shot from Martha's Vineyard, with the sun and the fence, but I'm also admiring the black bridesmaids' dresses and the orange/yellow flowers. Just what I have in mind!
