Our bridesmaids dresses

I'm super excited that we've just selected our bridesmaids dresses. (Assuming they all fit well...)

I wanted to make sure everyone would be in a dress they liked, but I didn't want everyone wearing the same thing.

I also really like the variety of color. I think these dresses go very well with our yellow and gray color scheme, and despite the different fabrics and styles, I think the fact that they're all knee-length, have ties at the waist, as well as v-necks helps unify them.

A lemon centerpiece

Given that our colors are yellow, white and gray, it seems as though we should definitely include some lemons in our decor! I love how fun and fresh they seem. I also appreciate including organic elements.

I also need to reconsider these awesome lemony coasters I found previously as well. I've been thinking about them ever since I first posted them.

The perfect invite

I love the contrasting patterns and the use of color. Despite the patterns, the softness of the colors lends a certain subtlety.

Invitations, stamps, and more available from Paperwink.

Yellow Bridesmaids Dresses

Yellow is a controversial color to wear, I know. However, yellow and gray are our wedding colors and there are soooo many cute yellow dresses out there these days.

This one shown here is a Maggy London from Macy's. It's one of my favorites so far. I love the unique neckline. In general, I like the really girly dresses with stiff ruffles and lots of unusual stuff going on around the neckline.
